Getting Close

I want to thank all of you for cheering me when I say on my last post that I'm doubting myself.  Thank you all for the encouragement. 

Well Ashlyn's birthday is this weekend and i am just nuts decorating the house and figuring out what else i am missing.  So for it looks like it's all good.  Forecast say it will be a nice days so i'm happy we get to still keep the jumper.  I do need the jumper with around 27 kids!  I just clean the house and am taking a mini break away from all the cleaning and decoration.

So what i realize is that i am just sick and tired of my usual style so I thought i'll try something new.  Something more whimsy and something more doodlie.  I really didn't know how to create but i gotta admit i haven't have this much fun creating for quite sometime.  So  changes is good,  i'm hopping to do something fun and different more often now.

So here is my new kit which will be out at DD this up coming Sunday, it is called Smilin' at me (named by amyjo)

HI is me

HI Everyone i haven't been logging into typepad for so long that i actually forgot my pw.  I had to have them send me my PW to my email LOL.  I have been busy planning my DD's 4th birthday party, it is next Saturday!  It was fun preparing and making all the homemade party favors.  I will definitely take photos and show you what i have done!  As I was planning on the party i realize gosh i also invited boys and as we all know boys don't like pink or princess LOL.  I end up drawing some pirates as will so the boy wouldn't feel left out from the girly party.  Soo i created it a kit with the pirates.  Let me tell you it wasn't easy for me to create a pirate kit.  It actually took me forever! I really didn't know what to create or what type of papers to create.  It was just one of the hardest kits i think i have ever created.  The resolve i must say wasn't bad but i can't say i love it. Also i have a customer requested a japanese style kit, I wish i had a little more time to create this kit but i say 2 days of work isn't too shabby.  I'm happy with it but i know if i have a little more time i could have done an even better job.  I don't know why but  i have been doubting my designs lately, it just don't seem to me that i'm doing a great job anymore.  All kits are up and on sale (30percent off with code 148694 when check out)you can check it out at Designerdigital.

it's a girl thing and black and white

It have been a long time since i blog.  I think i said the same thing last time LOL.  I'm just not very good at blogging.  What is new with me hmmm, really nothing much.  Just same old same old.  Justin is on spring break starting next week and boy I'm gonna have to find a way to entertain him.

I have been planning on my DD 4th birthday party and i created this kit dedicated to her 4th birthday.   Funny part is that the outfit of this Girlfriends are inspired by my DD's outfit LOL  I really spend quite a bit of time on this collection.  I added furnitures and oh how she love purses!  The girlfriend with the black hair is her!  You can find my It's a girl thing kit here.

This black and white kit will be out this weekend.  I was having a hard time finding a name for this kit but thanks to the Designerdigital CTMs they have come up with Noir et Blanc, I was told it met black and white.  This kit will be out this up coming weekend.  I love this kit, and it was so much fun to work with.  I really don't know why it have took me so long to use black and white. 

For my next kit i am really really tempted to do robots.  Robots are so in right now i just have to get my hands on those cute robots.  YOu know me if i do robot it will be cutesy! LOL

Easter

Been a while since i blog.  I am totally terrible about blogging.  Anyways I'm getting a tiny bit tire.  We just got back from a funeral and boy was the kids a handful tonight.  Took them home bathe then and they fell asleep.

Anyways Here is an Easter kit which will be release this Sunday.  I name this kit after the cutesy name I called my DH.  I called my DH Hunny Bun all the time. 

OK have a great week, I'm exhausted and i'm off to bed

Everyone is sick at home!

Well, everyone have a flu at home.  My son started to get sick on tuesday, fever, sinus pressure and ear infection and he started to throw up on OUR carpet.  NOT FUN!  then this morning my little girl got the bug too, she too had the same symptoms and throwing up.  It was not fun giving her meds, we have to PIN her down in order to get any meds in her.  My DH stayed home from work because he is sick too.  So far i'm not sick yet and hopefully not, someone have to take care of everyone in the family.

The Valentine's day contest was short lived LOL.  The first person commented on my blog got it right.  Valentine's Day is my birthday. 

Anyways i didn't make any cute animals  this week.  I did a couple flower kit, since it is always faster and easier for me.  We have our quarterly sale this weekend so i got to think of something fast so here are a couple of the floral kits.  I promised a lady i will make her a baby girl kit and i want her to know that is on my list next.  I really want to take my time drawing some cute graphics and not to rush it.

Christmas & New Years is over

and now we are getting ready for a SWEET holiday.  I love Valentine, because to me it is such a girly day. Flowers, hearts, red and pink are all such girly stuff.  There is another reason why i love Valentine, it is not because of love or the flowers i should get LOL.  If you are the first person to post a correct comment about why this day is special will get this adorable Valentine day kit for free.  You can only have one guess.  Be sure to leave your email address so i can contract you if you are the first to guess it right.

Ok now why did i made a panda Valentine day kit?  Well it happened in the Designerdigital chat room, everyone was telling me how much they love my penguins and my other adorable stuff and next thing i know Katie Pertiet emailed me and told me it would be sooo adorable to create a Panda Valentine kit!  I thought how cute would that be and panda have always been one of my favorite animal.  So here you go Pandamondium, the name also suggested by Katie.  Long day today and i got sooo much to do tomorrow and i feel like i am getting sick.  I'm gonna sign off and have a good night rest and finish up what i need tomorrow.

Last kit of the yr

I want to design something pretty and feminine.  I worked on this papers for quite a while, since i couldn't get them the way i like.  I love the colors but at first things just didn't fall together and the patterns wasn't dainty enough for my taste.  I let it seat for a few days and change about 5 patterns to a more dainty version.  I think they look pretty good and dainty now.  As for the name Dahlia, i picked it because of the black dramatic colors and i am fascinated with the Black Dahlia.  I have always love crimes and mastery stuff. This true story gave me chill every time i read about it or think about it.  The black Dahlia was killed in the 1947, her body was cut in half, blood drained, her mouth was craved like Joker and was left nude.  No one ever found out who her killer is.  Anyways enough of the freaky story LOL.  Here is the preview of my kit which will be release this up coming Sunday

Hello, i'm still alive

HI Everyone.  I"m still alive.  Been busy with stuff but i manage to work on some christmas goodies!  Here are the items for Sunday.  Nothing really new, just busy getting ready for christmas.  I been gift shopping and all the fun stuff that comes along with christmas.  YOu know the drill haha.   Anyways you guys  have a good one!

It feels great

to release a kit! I love digital more then anything, the freedom and is fun to create the way i want and however i want.  Don't get me wrong, i love my other project as will,Is just sometime it can get frustrating when my client seeing things they don't like and i have to change everything, Blah.  I'm gonna try to squeeze in one more kit next week before my next project. FUn fun fun!
